And the best vegetarian sandwich you will find in the latest addition of restaurants to join the vegetarian gourmet affair, ‘Sandoitchi’, at Heera Panna, Hiranandani Gardens, Powai, Mumbai. IMG_20171227_193002 Not only in the city but all over the world, unfortunately for the vegetarian crowd, many sandwiches if not most, of them contain meat. That said, a city this diverse has many top notch places to get your vegetarian sandwich fix. But here's why you should come to Sandoitchi! IMG_20171221_215852 Lunchtimes can become a serious ordeal. While your office folks in Powai could skip off to the numerous non vegetarian restaurants and meal deals, from a choice of seemingly hundreds of extravagant gourmet offerings and crisp options, you could breeze in this relaxed green aisle called Sandoitchi. Fresh and quick is what it is. Sandoitchi bakes it's own breads. Piping fresh hotilicious!  Hearty and delicious vegetarian sandwiches that will fuel you all morning, afternoon and evening. Enjoy fresh and healthy fillings and vegetables on whole grain bread, toasty panini, roasted breads, and lots more. IMG_20171221_231600 (Miss Earth Shaan and Shri. Abhijeet Chavan graced the restaurant along with Tanya Satish ) Layer cheese, tomatoes, and fresh parsley on breads made in house and weigh the sandwich down with heavy bottomless glasses of various juices and soft drinks to meld the flavors. Masala Premix's like Lemon Tea,Iced Lemon Tea, Cola, Orange,Ice Tea,   Berry berry and Passion Fruit.

(Col. Suri and Socialite Sapna Bajaj endorsed the vegetarian Gourmet Hub) I read through half a book while munching on loaded Nachos, Loaded Fries, Dough balls, Crunchy Onion Rings,Alapino Joy and my favourite Yummy Yams! IMG_20171225_173526 (Christmas saw underprivileged kids gifted at Sandoitchi as part of their CSR) They do offer Teppanyaki noodles and rice dishes for heavier options, along with cheese and macs on the menu. The ambience is welcoming, staff are warm, so you could sit and sip your coffee and continue chatting, or you could grab a quick ‘Sandoitchi’ and run back to work! You could quickly choose from Indian, Mediterrain, Mexicano, Asian,   Italiano or Jain, I of course sat drooling over the Pizzawich! Add a rich desert cheesecake and  bread pudding if you are abundantly blessed with time and savour  add ons, and you have a vegetarian food meal fit for a king. You can have a salad tomorrow, for sure!
